About 10 years ago, I bought my first computer.  I was really confused about what it was and what it did.  After accidently reformatting my hard drive (twice) I wrote a little poem.  Ten years later, I still feel the same.

MY COMPUTER
I'm sitting here doing nothing--
Except I'm trying to think,
Playing with my computer,
And having myself a drink.

I figure if I try real hard
And I don't abuse it,
That maybe with a little luck,
I might even learn to use it.

I'm going to keep on trying
And pecking on these keys,
Although sometimes I hit the Fs,
When I'm trying to hit the Gs.

Sometimes I get real mad,
And even leave the room crying,
'Cause I think the darn thing knows
That I am really trying.

Sometimes I practice on it
For a whole day long.
But all I ever see on this screen is,
"Hey, Dummy, you're doing it all wrong."
