Every November I go get my deer stamp, clean up the rifle, and head for the back yard. (I have a big back yard.) I keep a deer feeder up year round, and always get at least one good white tail for the freezer. The deer in this neck of the woods run 80-120 pounds dressed.
I'm getting ready for
the new season. I hope this year is better than last year. We had so many
feral hogs and feral dogs, the deer were pretty scarce. This year we have
a lot of pork in the freezer and the dogs are all gone.
