Dial-Up Networking Setup
Windows 98
Double-click My Computer:
Double-click Dial-Up Networking:
Double-click Make New Connection:
Type the name of the connection (ex: Eastex Goodsprings), then click Next:
Type the number required for your location, then click Next:
Note: Leave the area code box blank. If you must enter 903 before the number (required for the 903 area), do so in the Phone number box. The area code is not necessary for the 936 area.

The name of the connection appears in the box, click Finish:
Right-click the connection and click Properties:
Uncheck Use area code and Dialing Properties, then click the Server Types tab:
Uncheck Log on to network, NetBEUI, and IPX/SPX Compatible, then click OK:
Right-click the connection and click Create Shortcut:
Click Yes on the warning dialog that appears:
Double-click the shortcut that appears on your desktop:
The Connect-to dialog now appears. Enter the username and password used to set up your account:
You are now set up to connect to the Internet. To connect, click Connect. If you have any problems or questions, contact us.
